ok so I have been M.I.A. from my blog in quite a while egad that wasn't cool...but I am back once again

Fashion is life, and I am living a vintage lifestyle...I have been so in my fashion vintage bag lately thrifting and all!!!! I'm definitely loving the 80's right now, but what can I say I'm an 80's baby of course

YSL bka Yves Saint Laurent currently has my attention, me gusta mucho, amoung my usuals Kate Spade NY, Tiffany, & JCrew

The local fashion though, pure abomination!!!!!! I refuse to comment but many need help now a days, I'm not even trying to be rude, I just see so many poor choices especially for some people who would look oh so fabulous with just alittle help!!!!

My current Style Icon's----> Lady Gaga of course, Janelle Monae!! (she gives me life), & Ms Jackson if you're nasty (she has been serving it up in her adds lately!!!)

OMG this is how I feel about the VMA's....

this fool never ceases to make the public say WTF....Poor Taylor Swift because she's young so she didn't really know how to handle the interruption like a veteran would have & why is Kanye riding Beyonce's apple sugar spice???? Kanye made 3 people look like fools in less then 60 seconds! I thought he was tripping when he said he should be the next King of Pop, he took it to a whole nother level...speaking of MJ the real King of Pop, I find it very interesting that Kanye pulled this stupid stunt right after they do the MJ TRIBUTE...How fitting for someone who thinks he should be the next King of Pop huh???? anyway enough about this blow hard who has received enough attn tonight

I absolutely love her music, but WTF was going thru her mind for that bloody end to her performance??? & why in blue blazes was she trying to out do her own outfits each time she changed!!! Rock on Lady Gaga but i do think you are alittle OFF

I have always loved Pink & she proved even further why I should...this girl performed while doing a trapeze act (that gave Beyonce alittle run for her $$!)

I love Jay-Z to the fullest...his Empire State of Mind performance was dope, but i kind of expected more from JAY to the motha effin Z I mean his album just dropped & its fire so i just expected more idk just stating my opinion especially since he was the one ending the show ya dig


MJ Tribute-the best part of the show


I love Madonna she kept it real she made everyone remember that MJ was a human being which apparently people seemed to forget until he died....I was def digging the part she mentioned about him not being able to re-claim his childhood because he was under a microscope & I like how she equated it with her loosing her mother at a young age & spending a lifetime trying to discover mother figures...WELL DONE

&& to Janet Jackson LOVE HER digging the performance where she got to dance with her big bro one last time!!!! && mad props to the dancers they killed!!!!! definitely crapped on the BET awards MJ Tribute & I will definitely be in the movie theater Oct 28 for the MJ movie!!!!

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH PEOPLE THESE DAYS!!! It seems like FAKE is at an all time high!! people are just being outlandish with their actions, i've encountered so many situations & heard stories....its scares me because if its this hard being real what does that say about the amount of honesty left in the world? somewhat depressing feel me?



Im not one to engage in politics but I was slightly dishardened by the fact that people made such an uproar about the president's speech on education that he wanted to deliver to all students, I heard the speech on the Michael Basdin show it was so empowering, I look around today && that was def something that our children need to hear, but they say Obama is trying to use that as a cover for talking about healthcare...are you kidding me? the man cant wanna just out an encouraging message? I guess these are the times we are living in & its only going to get worse, mark my words

On another note....FEMALES


I feel that a large amount of females now a days are falling by the wayside....the attitudes, the attire, the language WTH....many of them are presenting such a bad image (white, black, hispanic, native american, etc..) why do you feel you have to curse every other word?, do anything to get men's attention?, have excessive child's fathers?, where certain attire?, look put together & have your childern look horrible?, its just so many things Ladies need to step their game up!

Another thing i'm tired of is placing blame on the wrong person....LADIES if your man is being shady DO NOT call that female, stalk her, have all your friends add her on FB etc....your mad at the wrong person, truth is even if the other female(s) knows about you, the fact is your man is still the one in the wrong!!!!! because A) he told her about you & is still messing with her on the side B) he's the one that doesn't care about & is disrespecting you!!!!! get over it! please (*note not personal experience but I've heard & seen many occurances)

Men in Skinny jeans....IDK where to start!!!!!!!! WTH!!!!! its just wrong, tight pants is one thing but skinny jeans on a man??? lawd have mercy its not cute, can his dick breathe???? its just a no no all around...Jay-z said it best... can't wear skinny jeans cuz my knots don't fit...NEXT



Now we are going to address something that has been on my mind....Men who staying trying to play games....just lay it all out on the line...please....stop trying to play woman against one another or making your ex look like the crazy one to ya new girl just tell what it is if you still talking to her let the new girl know cuz she eventually going to find out....I just need niggas to be real they lie to avoid the female getting mad at them but what they don't understand we going to be mad if you do something stupid anyway we'll just be less mad if you tell the friggin truth is that so hard...

Lets Talk Spencer...



OMG he is the biggest female!!!!.....He irks my nerves to the fullest w/ his scruffy looking self, at first i used to think he had the right words b/c Heidi believes anything even with all the evidence, but I realized she's just a dummy of sorts...but her fashion is fabulous.... ANYWAY back to Spencer, ugh no wonder no one likes him except his grandmother....I need him to get over himself...hahaha he's on twitter too, he needs attention big time!

I couldn't start this off with no more than a *sigh*....I have so many thoughts on whats going on in the world today, but the current woah i speak of is fashion.....

The first thing is why it seems that so many people (males and females) seem to wear clothing oh so inappropriate for their body shape/size!


Seriously! I have nothing against my sisters who are big && beautiful! but the nonsense must end!!!!!!

Extra-medium shirts!!! if you were a XXL you should not be in any store trying to buy a medium!!!!!!!!! (and some of this has to do with men b/c some of them wouldn't wear it if men didn't act like it was attractive... men stop it....another discussion for another time)


Another thing dress age appropriate!

I need grown woman to stay out of stores that appeal mostly to teenagers!!!!!! or if you do happen to shop there (because some stores (ex American Eagle, Gadzooks, Forever 21) do have many outfits feasible for woman outside the majority age of shoppers that they appeal to...


Braids- I have to agree with my girl Jasmine H...if you are over age 18 you really shouldn't be rocking braids even micros (exception...vacation...might want the hair braided so you won't spend time doing it or if your going swimming)

Low Rise Jeans- Must be worn in moderation and dont think just because they are low rise that you don't need a belt!!!! if you bend over and I can see any part of your rear end or underwear YOU NEED A BELT or maybe depending on your body shape you need not wear low rise jeans...


Hair:


Weaves- weave is not supposed to look like a wig, and if you want that look maybe you should buy a wig!, they should look as natural as possible and if it starts looking bad get it re-done!!!!!!! if money is tight maybe you need to wash it!!!! it need to always look right!....which brings me right into the next topic...



TWO-TONE HAIR!!!!!- all i can say is STOP IT! and by this i mean dramatic two tone colors like burgundy and blonde, are you serious? or green and red..what??!!! NO!!!!!!! thats unprofessional no matter what type of job you have unless you're in a rockband!.....



Hair and skin tones- first off all skin tones are gorgeous but all types of hair colors are not gorgeous with all skin tones!.....No offense to my darkskinned sisters but that blonde the rapper Eve was rocking is not for you! (it barely worked for her!) You are supposed to compliment your skintone and blonde does nothing but make you stand out and not in a good way! and lightskinned women stop thinking you can pull off anything, definitely not true!!!! like the rapper Eve blonde hair.....no!!!! thats a whole lot of light! it really doesnt work...The same goes for make-up people compliment your skin tone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Short Dresses--Dresses are fabulous....but when they are super short you need shorts!!!!! as in underneath them or spanks or boy shorts or something just underwear will not do especially if you are in the club and dancing wild......

Sunglasses are FOR THE OUTSIDE!!!! unless your are joking of some sort or have them on for a funny facebook pic or something

Jewelry- the cheap plastic looking jewelry has got to go point blank period.....and if you are going to do large jewelry you need to keep it simple....don't have on a large beaded necklace and a large beaded bracelet and large beaded earrings!!!!! TOO MUCH! and sometimes less is more! especially with the everyday


URBAN WEAR-BABY PHAT, ROC-A-WEAR, APPLEBOTTOMS, ECKO- nothing wrong with them per say, but wearing all the clothes with your Urban Wear label all over it...too much, alil emblem here or there is cool but a big freaking roc-a-wear across your chest or butt for real though...and anything with gold/silver metallics....one word MODERATION!!!!!

PEOPLE JUST NEED TO WEAR WHATS BODY SIZE/SHAPE APPROPRIATE!!!! AND IF IN DOUBT ALWAYS REMEMBER LESS IS MORE!!!!!

Fitted's....I swear....grown men with style don't rock fitteds especially over sized one's to darn big for their heads!!!!!! its not cute!!! if your running errands or going to a sporting event, or outside activities, fitteds are cool but otherwise....=(



URBAN WEAR!!!!!!!!!


Phat Farm, Roc-a-wear, Ecko, Sean John etc and there is nothing wrong with Urban wear but the outfits with extra bright colors and the designer name plastered all over it are not cute!!!! don't no real female care to see your name brand really....keep it classy and jean jackets....NO!! jean sets...(excuse me) HELL NO....expand horizons! please throw some J Crew, Tommy, Polo in there...



Age Appropriate- Fitteds, Jordans (off the court), white tee's, over sized watches, sagging pants, flip flops and socks, braids, extra large earrings and hop earrings, timbs in the summertime!- over 21, you should say no to all of the above


Exceptions....Jordans-on the court, running errands, white tee's-correct size and underneath another shirt


Sunglasses anywhere other than outside...NO!




Sorry had to get somethings off of my chest.......True style is not about where you shop, its about how you shop...everything does not have to be designer to be decent...true style transcends all time....use all things in moderation
